chef driven, approachable

Fine dining.
Real life.

Over the last twenty years, award-winning Chef Jonathan Beatty has built a career in some of the South's most respected kitchens, working alongside world-renowned chefs and leading high-level culinary teams built on discipline, precision and excellence.

That experience earned him national recognition as the winner of Food Network's Chopped, where his creativity, composure and execution took the title against elite culinary competition.

But Pretty Hens was never about creating an exclusive dining experience. It was about creating a place people could come back to multiple times a week, where a family after practice, a couple on a casual date, and a chef coming off service could all sit down and feel equally welcome.

what we believe

It's not really
about the chicken.

At the end of the day, Pretty Hens is about care: in preparation, in service, in culture, in community.

01

Care in preparation.

Carefully seasoned, slowly roasted, prepared with the attention that only comes from people who genuinely care about the outcome.

02

Care in service.

Hospitality is empathy, warmth, attentiveness, and pride in making someone's day a little easier. Not just "customer service."

03

Care in culture.

Culture matters as much behind the kitchen doors as it does in the dining room. Quality should never feel intimidating.

04

Care in community.

We're proud to build Pretty Hens here, in the community that shaped us. Grateful for every guest who sits at our table.
